Am I the only one who thinks the 30s and 20s and beyond should be combined? You could even make a rule that every list have at least, say, five movies from the 20s. Except for Mark or Holden and a few others, most people can't even at this point in time make a satisfactory top 10 of the 20s, let alone 25. Just a slightly off-topic thought for when the day comes...

Sorry Kap but to that idea I have to say No No No! I must really protest such an idea as unfair.

The 1930s are just as important in film as the 1950s. If you guys thought it was some major crime to run the All Time Top Movie Countdown during the 6 months interim time of the 1950s Countdown, then just image how much more of a major crime it is to lump the 1930s with the 20s:rolleyes:

After the 30s Countdown is done then it should be the Silent Era (1890-1929)

If need be I'll run the 1930s Countdown myself. It needs to be treated just as fairly as the 1950s.

That's why when a Silent Era (1890-1929) Countdown is being run it needs to be smaller and simpler. With say 25-50 movies in the countdown and voting list of 5-25 movies with partial list being OK. (those numbers aren't written in stone and should be adjusted as needed.)

I agree with Citizen on this. I think we will struggle to come up with 25 of the 20s, so it's a good idea to combine it with pre-20s. But 30s should go it alone.
