Predator franchise, like Aliens, and Terminator are so convoluted and diluted….Think this will be another uninspired more of the same. The mediocrity has left an impression.

Reminds me of something Oliver Harper, BadMovieBible and Nick Helm said in one of their videos.

Movies of the past 15 years have been so insufferably terrible, that we are happy to settle for mediocre movies, because the terrible ones we've become used to make the mediocre ones look good.
It's only when we take a step back, and compare the mediocre ones to movies of the 70s, 80s and 90s, we realise that we're actually settling for and praising garbage.
