What is the point of this because I thought your PMs were supposed to be give people fake stories? Do you give them a fake story and then if they don't wanna use it, they come up with a real story?

I like people coming up with their own fake stories.

It's more so people can't change on the spot whether it's a lie or truth. You can come up with them yourselves if you like, but submit them to me. I'm the controller.

I posted in the thread that I wouldn't be on for much longer when the real Cricket got his turn, and then I posted again before I left.

For future reference, you will never see me online later than that, and only on Fridays and Saturdays. Every other day of the week I'll be off 2-3 hours earlier.

Hashtag had a story about his fear of mushrooms. It was a lie, and we also guessed that one correctly.

Then the real Cricket got to have a turn. His story was about drinking alcohol in police cars on two separate occasions. Despite my hesitation to believe the circumstances of the second story (I guess police follow different procedures around here), SC thought that it was true, and was correct.

Currently Yam CaptainT is telling a story about how he got caught singing "bad lyrics" in public.

Haha, yeah. I just still think it's weird that the officer brought you to his car instead of interviewing you at home or at the station.

I've had to give statements to both the RCMP and the RNC, and at neither time would it have been appropriate to have that conversation in their car.

It's ok, nobody's losing their spot or anything, and this is what we do for fun, so I'm quite happy to have a couple of days where nothing happens. Gives me time to sort things out.

Almost done with Hash's head, and the table I can do as soon as I'm sure what the end result of seanc's round was, and also, I need to make amends for throwing a spanner in one team's works by confusing who was in whose team and telling people they couldn't vote. :lol:

I get proud of things like...getting transparency right when doing the hair. That's something I just put spend time on, because that's the kid of thing that makes it look a bit real. I can't colour match all the skin tones just right, yet. But I'm kind just muddle on. Get lucky most of the time. I don't even use Photoshop, I use a buggy free online thing, because of course things not working right and adding to stress is my bag. :lol:

If I really learned graphic art I think I may actually be the type to produce good stuff. It's in my "one day" pile of stuff.

The thing is that people don't have to be online at the same time to do this though. Yes it's more interesting done live, but it's possible to ask questions and wait for answers over a longer period of time as well, waiting for everyone to have a chance to ask something, or at least be happy with the current responses.

The porch in question was actually an interior one, so luckily I wasn't outside in the cold.

The door from the porch to the rest of the apartment had a broken doorknob on the living room side. If you didn't close the door gently, the knob would fall off, and be impossible to open from the opposite side in the porch.

My room mate would frequently get herself trapped in the porch by slamming the door too hard when she went out to have a smoke. Typically, I'd be home and able to reattach the knob and let her in. However, one day while I was out, she did the exact same thing I told her to be careful about. I get home, and am unable to get inside. She had gone to a friend's house instead of dealing with the situation.

The porch is inside the house, so they'd need to get in through the main door first, which was always locked.

Maybe this area of the house is called something different in other regions. It's a small room between the main door and the rest of the house, where boots and jackets (and salt bags and snow shovels) are kept.

I'm not sure if proud is the right word. I was quite relieved that I was able to get into the house. I would come to laugh at that moment, and the hole in the door that never got repaired. The landlord didn't find it particularly amusing though. Needless to say, I didn't get my damage deposit back.

The first thing I did after gaining entry was to get the first aid kit in the bathroom (my hands were bleeding from the effort). Then I mostly just complained to my friends about how irritated I was about my room mate, especially since she didn't even have the decency to call or text to give me a head's up about the situation. I did tell everyone about what happened, because how could you not? It was a bit boring having to constantly explain why I couldn't just kick the door open, or use the screwdriver to take apart the doorknob or door hinges. Some people just can't appreciate a good story.

I didn't have to pay for it myself. The landlord should've fixed the locking mechanism when the knob was first broken. We did bring it to her attention. Once my room mate trapped us both out, the only way in would've been to break the door, or break a window. That wasn't my fault.

I don't know how much it cost to replace the door. It was still broken (with some plywood nailed over the hole) when I moved out.

If the cost was coming out of someone's deposit, it should've been my room mate's. She's the idiot who couldn't figure out how to close the door without slamming it. But really, I didn't even bother asking for the deposit back. Figured it would be an automatic "hell no", especially since I was the one who did the actual damages. I didn't feel like pushing my luck, in case she did ask me to pay for the door.

This sounds vaguely like innuendo, but I shall answer it seriously anyway.

I have no idea. It was probably a Phillips though. I don't think I had a Robertson in my toolbox, or if I did, I wouldn't have used that since it wouldn't have been a good choice to stab the door with. I may or may not have also used a flat top screwdriver with the hammer as a sort of mock chisel to get some purchase in the wood.

This depends on where and with whom I am. I generally wouldn't curse in public in a subway full of people going to their work and children going to school. Sometimes when you listen to a song and you know the lyrics you just start singing them (Or at least I do) and I totally forgot about where I was.

Literally the only Eminem song I know is "Slim Shady". What is it about the lyrics to "Rap God" that is inappropriate for the public?

A lot of things in the song are inappropriate. A few examples are sexual comments about mothers, wanting to kill children and a lot of cursing.
