I do speak for myself, thank you.

So you can ignore people without a block function. Interesting.
I have no idea what you are on about, given that I never "blocked" you or put you in Ignore.
Thank you for the amuse-bouche though.

I thought I was done here but you are misrepresenting her words and that should stop.
oh, we are done. You can be certain of that..

That's exactly my point.

You keep repeating refuted claims, refuse to recognize simple facts and seemingly are unable to answer a simple "yes" or "no" question. Your responses do not hold up against the mainstream standards of rational and fruitful discussion.
There's no sense in keeping this conversation going if this is the level at which you want to have it.
I rest my case.

That's exactly my point.
You have no point to begin with with.
Anyhow, I have my answers.
Moving along now.

You have no point to begin with with.
There's a difference between not having a point, and having a point you're too arrogant to have clarified for you. If you don't understand something, ask. It is intellectually dishonest to dismiss somebody on the grounds that you do not understand the argument they are making.

I rest my case.
At least you've shown your true colors at last.
Not being able to set aside your self-serving bias in order to admit the truth is indeed a devilish characteristic. ;)

He understands. He's just too "little" to admit that he was at fault. So be it.
I appreciate your suggestion, but no. Sorry. My decision is final. As I stated, I don't expect to be popular or liked by everyone for my decision...nor do I care. What I care about is moving forward and having people either respect my decision or not doing so. In the end, no one can change my mind on this matter--not even my friends (and they've tried, believe me).
When and if I EVER decide to remove anyone from my ignore list will be on MY own time, MY own terms and, ultimately, my own decision.
At this point (and this isn't just directed at you, so don't get me wrong) I would like for everyone to just drop it because I am NOT removing these people from my ignore list. Not now, at least.
My answer to EVERYONE regarding this ignore issue is simple: if you can't make peace with my decision then that's fine...but I would appreciate it if people would stop asking me about this.
So, anyone willing to accept my decision, I look forward to future discussions with you. Anyone unwilling to accept...well, I don't know what to say other than maybe you should turn your attention to another poster.
Thank you.
You ok hun?

ok, you guys are literally getting nowhere, and in another 14 pages, you're going to be exactly where you are now. this thread is basically just the imdb assimilation thread part 2. no one asked for my advice :D but i'm gonna give it: accept that you don't agree, avoid each other on the boards from now on and leave this thread, which has turned into trash just like the other one.
I have found this thread somewhat amusing but now it's just plain silly. It's time to get a few things straight. This may not be the best place to do it but hey ho.
1) This us and them mentality is nonsense. Anyone who bases any of their identity on the internet forums they visit needs to ask themselves some questions. "IMDB refugee" Anyone perpetuating the 'us an them' rhetoric without their tongue firmly in their cheek is being a bit nobbish.
2) IMDB was not a war zone or a prisoner of war camp. People keep spouting how they have been scarred by what the nasty people said. If it was that bad why did you keep going?
3) IMDB boards are gone, they cease to be, they are no more. They have moved on I suggest you do too.
4) The original post without the gesture being spread to the whole forum screams "Look at me". You are entitled to do what you wish with your ignore list and you are entitled to your opinion but that courtesy is also extended to others. I think it's all a bit petty but it's your choice how you interact and who with.
5) I have found this place great. Some people have opinions that are different to mine and there seems to be a diverse online community on here. I will treat people with respect until they give me reason not to. I will be civil with all and hopefully may be even consider some people on here as friends in the future.
6) Some of you need to take the advice of the Twainster "Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"
7) Lighten up. This is meant to be fun. All of this drama, although at times really quite funny, there is a line.
8) I like Space Jam
Yoda can close it. Seriously, I hope he does. It was nothing more than an apology that of COURSE had to turn into another turdfest. Good riddance, I say.
Close it, please, Yoda.

Only one person in this thread has accused people of having bad intentions without any good evidence. Remember that before you put the blame on other people for this "turdfest". :)
I thought this was one of Guapaneses "Im sorry" threads being bumped at first
You know what...I can't do this. Just can't.
I was going to try to make things work here and, while some posters are great, there are far too many here that I simply can't stand. My ignore list would be chock full of people if I continued on like this.
I'm done. Out. Leaving this board.
This **** isn't worth it.

Wow, this thread was sure hot as charred chestnut. 20h I hadn't been on the forum and there're 14 pages already.
People started to pick fight in an apology thread as soon as page 2. I have no idea who this guy was, so I won't judge anything, but threads like this are the epitome of fun
