I think those things are so ridiculous. They're all about coloring in TEENY TINY little places. It's like cross stitch in a book or something. No thank you. If I'm to become a kid again, I want an old fashioned kid coloring book, where you can color in big places, get it all messy, have fun, etc. Adult coloring books look like Hell on Earth.

9 Newfoundlanders held off the Germans for 11 hours. If the Germans had captured that town, it would've taken an estimated 40,000 soldiers to reclaim it. And all our soldiers were previously untrained volunteers.

We didn't need to provide as many men as India did. Britain just needed to provide our men with proper support, and you know, not force them to charge straight into the German trenches. :rolleyes:

It's too cold here to grow most crops. We're isolated from the rest of Canada. The ferry that transports people and goods to the island is frequently unable to make the trip in 3 out of 4 seasons due to high winds or ice. 50 years is not enough time to solve those problems. Ha, really? I thought at least you would kind of understand where I was coming from, although I guess you've got to protect your own back and your best effort is keeping me in. I know you've been saying about not quitting, but there's a limit, and listening to Tongo I honestly believe that despite your good intentions, and mine, to an extent, we're doing the wrong thing here. If I left, if you left, whatever, what would be left? Not much. I know for a fact that SC has a vendetta against me in Survivors and is still bitter against me for winning Survivor 4, pretty much every opportunity he's had to f*ck me over in this game, he has, probably because he could sense after the first two eliminations that I was going to win again. You defeat advertisy and plan well but what's the point, I put in many hours of planning and such to protect myself but you can't account for some of this stuff that comes out of no where. If this happened in a real life situation, you'd get the person launching a legal challenge, you can't just constantly move the goalposts. Maybe I'm overreacting but you don't know what it's like in every Survivor being targetted from the off.

Well, I like to think that my and SC normally get on, and I did him a favour by letting him host my game after he begged me, so I thought that me and him were on good terms, and he'd enjoy me being part of his game. It was actually going well up until the whole TUS fiasco, but since then it's all gone downhill and he's gave everyone else a load of powers. I got Spaulding to do a challenge for him, and although I got two hypnosis powers at the time, overall I've been punished, TUS cheats and he gets rewarded and the two people who were voted out get to come back and then eliminate someone with the powers they get given.

I agree that SC went overboard making up for the TUS drama. At most, Raul and Nope should've shared the 2 hypnosis powers (1 each) and one of them given the idol. Awarding TUS's allies with 4 hypnosis powers and 2 idols was just insane. But I honestly believe that SC thought he was doing the right thing to make up for getting TUS temp banned. Though the fact that TUS circumvented that ban by posted with not one but two alts should've been grounds for punishment, not extra rewards.

When I said I was reconsidering my "no quitting" stance, I did mean it. But I got over it. Quitting now is just going to be seen as childish. Like you're throwing a tantrum because you're not getting your way. You seem to think that this game is not going to go on without you, but it will. You need to get over yourself man.

Honestly I'm not sure if SC believes me when I say I'm not another alt account for TUS. It was funny in Survivor VI, but it's incredibly frustrating in this game, especially since there's already been so much controversy over alt accounts.

Maybe that should be the next challenge. Prove you're a real person or you're eliminated. If SC wants more real drama than this challenge has already caused, that's probably the way to do it.

Hmmm, maybe what I said was a little strong, I don't know. But I do feel like there are certain posters in here that seem to have some strange vendetta, and from what I have gathered so far, seem to be pushing people against me and trying to use unfair methods to do so. I also don't understand what seems to be a certain cult of personality around certain members who I don't think are particularly good Survivor players, I think Tongo's idea of an invite only game with specific players, without some of the people here, sounds more interesting and sensible.

Well, as Cosmic mentioned, it was just something I inferred from his post. Well, to me your attitude seemed more likely you weren't really fussed either way, Raul liked I mentioned I do actually like and hope does well in the game, if there is someone who deserves to win a Survivor who hasn't it's him, he does seem to get a lot of bad moves against him. But yeah Cosmic seems to have changed a bit and got really defensive since I said I would quit, I didn't think it was an extreme idea and I thought Cosmic would have understood me better than some others.

Fair enough. If me being in the game is going to cause problems then i'd have no problem dropping out, as i said i'm not really bothered. Not sure what you're worried about though. The votes were 6-4 for Nope, Rhys was only eliminated because he had an idol. You still have the votes 5-4, whatever though :shrug:

Genuinely, absolutely everything I have said today has been for the purpose of the challenge. As soon as I saw SC's post about real drama, and saw everyone posting like kind of joke insults at each other, I knew that wouldn't be what he wanted, so I thought I'd play on my recent complaining at him and threaten to quit and go from there. I think Topsy's Sheep game only had about 10 people, but after this elimination aren't there only going to be 8 people left? The winning answers for each question might only have 2 or 3 people who guessed it.

I don't mind doing a Sheep game, I like the Sheep game. I just think that if it's a game that's going to be played within Survivor, that it should be done earlier in the competition when more players are around. That would be the ideal situation at least. Guys, I don't know if I should continue the game any further. I'm getting a general impression from people that everyone's really tired of it. My enthusiasm for the game is dwindling. I really wanted to run a great Survivor game, but certain people have done things that wrecked it, and it's not turning out the way I wished it could be. I'm not saying the game is cancelled.... YET..... but..... let me know how you guys feel. I am NEVER running another Survivor game here as I feel MoFo Survivor has really lost its luster. For various reasons.

If we do play Sheep i think everybody should just do it normally for fun. Obviously Daniels alliance can just pick very weird answers and share them with each other so one of them wins. I'm not bothered about one of them winning as much as i'd just like to play a proper game, i mean this is the long awaited Sheep/Survivor crossover the world has been calling for.
