Pretty simple, I’ll start with the first Award, “We Miss You Most Of All” in a short while from now once everyone is here and ready.

Then we’ll go in order… 2, 3, 4 and so on (check the Presenters List above ^^ for the order).

It’s easy enough, we’ve done this twice before… it’s a case of the Presenter revealing their write-up if they have one, then the actual MoFie winner, everyone does the obligatory congratulations posts, then the next Presenter goes and so on.

Each MoFie has a number at the top anyways to make it easier to keep track, and the Presenters have their Awards ready and waiting to be revealed.
Sexy Celebrity is being my Wingman tonight and helping with keeping track of the order :D

COOLEST MOFO

Okay, so this is a special award that I'm giving out. I mentioned I'd be doing this. I decided someone who didn't get nominated for anything should get an award. Funny thing is, I already told him he was gonna win this and he probably won't even be here for the ceremony. And I really shouldn't even be giving it to him because he wasn't very cool this week in my Metalheads Song Tournament. But whatever.

This person has been a lot of fun in the Song Tournaments. He and I are, as I think of it, the Kings of Song Tournament. We constantly win them. In the last one, I was the Winner and he was the Runner Up. The guy shows a lot of enthusiasm for things around here, but he also doesn't mind showing a grouchy side if things don't go his way. It's fabulous.

Sometimes a MoFo will vanish offline, sometimes life and death simply has a way of taking them from us.

Deadite won this MoFie last year, and rightly so, and was nominated again this year, proving he was a highly respected, loved and missed MoFo.

This year, the founder of the MoFie Awards, Godoggo, hasn’t been online for ages, and I opened this year’s MoFies for her honour rather than letting it die off.

Gladly, she too was voted for heavily in this category as well, proving she too is a respected and loved member of the boards and her absence has been highly noted.

This category gives me huge pleasure, as it shows that there really is love on the internet.

I may have reviewed multiple movies on this forum,
but I have never actually reviewed a person… So how do I do that?

Well, let’s see, for one False Writer certainly had my interest just by his curious title, which definitely made my interest peak. When I finally decided to watch this False Writer, I learned that he was indeed a really interesting individual with a great character arc that you could relate to, especially because he is such a down to earth person. And despite of the name, there is absolutely nothing false about his writing, that’s for sure, you feel his personality instantly and can’t help but feel fascinated by the evolution of his character over time. I will say that, inside this odd alternative world of reality, called MoFo, he is definitely someone who looks to belong here and wants to make it a better place for everyone as well.

I feel like the story of this False Writer had a great introduction, where he made many threads with great and fun discussion in them, which helped us buy into his character and feel connected to what was happening. Then it felt like everything kept on building towards a climax, which happened with his Top 100 Favorite films list – an accomplishment I have yet to accomplish myself. But I quickly realized this was far from the end of our character, because he continued to evolve, and recently he has been actively fighting for a better fundament of joined movie discussions, coming up with rules and regulations on how to strengthen our community and knowledge of each other’s taste in film. He did that with the ‘Movie of the Month’ concept, which has been a really interesting idea, with some great writing in them, which helps us understand things better.

For now, I leave this False Writer open for interpretation, because you really have no idea what will happen next. False Writer, you definitely deserve this award despite a strong field of nominees and I hope you will continue to be an important part of this place because you most certainly belong here.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give False Writer a final verdict of 5 and with a great interest in revisiting this character over and over again, because whatever he will do next, I will be following, absorbing and learning from.
