From my understanding, she identifies as "gender fluid" - meaning not entirely male or entirely female and that she prefers people to use female pronouns. Hadn't heard anything about any sex change. Either way, not a man of our dreams.

If Bertolucci didnt tell her, and Brando knew - that is rape.

She wasn't touched sexually in any way. She said so herself. There was never any question of that. They told her just before the scene that the butter aspect was going to be part of it and she wasn't really comfortable with it, but proceeded with the scene anyway.
She later said she regretted doing that scene and felt a bit used by the two older gentlemen because she was just a young girl, but there is not in any way a case of rape here.

It was grotesque from the media to ever frame it that way and unfortunately almost everyone now thinks there was an actual rape taking place. It's deeply irresponsible from the reporters who told this story so poorly.

People should really check their sources before calling other people rapists. This must be extremely hurtful to Brando's relatives.

Terrace House is really great. You can watch it on Netflix. The one I've seen is Boys and girls in the city. Yoshimi Tokui along with others comment on what is happening in the house. I find him to be very charming :D. I'll check out shabekuri 007.

He's one of those actors who's a little hard to recognise when you cut his hair and shave off the facial fluff. Saw him in a movie not so long ago, and it was his voice I recognised. Pointed it out to my boyfriend and he did a double take. :lol:

Yes I heard that too. Anthony Hopkins was funny when he was asked who was the best actor he's ever worked with. He said "Well I worked with Laurence Olivier and he was pretty good". I like him a lot in Clash of the Titans.

There's a superhero style story, I don't think it's real, that Olivier became an actor as part of a promise to his mother before she died.

Story goes that she asked him to "become an actor", and to "be a good one, for [her]".

Seems too... theatrical to be real, but maybe...

He's great. It's just occurred to me actually that they've sort of played the same role in that Olivier played Zeus and Hopkins the Marvel version of Odin. I think Anthony Hopkins was seen as his successor at one point, a bit like John Neville was seen as the new John Gielgud.

That's very interesting – I thought he was so good in Conan the Barbarian.

William Hartnell developed a stutter during World War II and was told "You'd better get back to the theatre, you're no bloody good here". Apparently he was in the Tank Corps, which must have been hellish.

Oh god I disagree. Imagine being Jessica Lange, drawing attention to herself that she's a hasbeen aging beauty. Or Gaboury drawing attention to herself about her over eating (quite frankly I dont think she's a very good actress but that's beside the point, if ya know what I mean).
