I m rewatching Barry Lyndon. I remember during the movie, as a punishment for desertion I think, the narrator said "he was given a choice between being whipped a number of times by the whole regiment, or just shot once in the head.He chose the former then, since he couldn't bear it anymore he asked for the latter" I think the narrator said something like this, while Barry was whipped. Now that I may rewatching it, there s no such scene!!! I m already at the part when he meets the Chevalier De Balibari and is going around gambling in courts.
