I could go either way on this one. I actually haven't seen the original title and the trailer for the update has me half-interested. We'll have to wait and see how the girlfriend feels but signs are pointing towards The Social Network this weekend.

I merely quoted the stereotype as that is how it is seen by a lot of people and you're right in saying that it is offensive - like most stereotypes
I'd rather that instead of doing a film adaptation of a book whose first adaptation was already praised, they just made an original film.
