Have you ever bought Flavacol?

Tools

Ok, so today I bought my first-ever Flavacol (the popcorn seasoning salt theaters usually use) and I wanted to ask folks how much is usually good to use on pre-popped popcorn.

Also, any other tips or suggestions on how to use it to best enhance the flavor of my popcorn, if you should have any.

The instructions on the carton, as you can imagine, are written for making actual popcorn in kettle, which I never do at home. So anything that says, for example, you should use 1/2 tspn. for making 6 oz of corn doesn't really say anything to me.

Thanks in advance for anyone who has good tips on using Flavacol at home!

In case you want to know more about Flavacol

Ghouls, vampires, werewolves... let's party.
I've used Flavacol. One teaspoon to make about 6 quarts of popped popcorn should be enough. I've used both an electric and a stovetop popcorn popper. I put the oil and the salt and the unpopped popcorn in the popper and cooked it until all or most of the popcorn has popped. I don't really measure the uncooked popcorn. I would just put a layer of uncooked popcorn in the popper to cover the bottom. The same goes for an electric popper also.
