The wife is picking Moana to go see since I picked Arrival yesterday.

I wish everyone would forget Deadpool.

Oh yeah, it was pretty bad. I was insanely disappointed. I thought the credits were good though.

Funny though, my dad is a fan of Dazed and Confused and he absolutely hated Everybody Wants Some!!

I have a hard time understanding that, personally. When Linklater called it a spiritual sequel, he wasn't joking.

Heard nothing but great things about that. Looking forward to it.

Yeah, it's a different era, different cast, different age group, etc. but it is largely the same kind of thing. Can see it not working if the humour doesn't, i'm surprised he actually hated it though and wasn't just underwhelmed or indifferent. Oh well he's right though: Dazed>Some

Funny thing is he hated Everybody Wants Some!! because he thought the humor was really dumb, yet he loved Deadpool and found it "sophisticated".

I love my dad, but I'm not so crazy about his taste in movies.

haha same. My dad loves some really great stuff but then one of his favourite comedies is that random Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson film: Anger Management

My dad had great taste in film because his favorite film was Shawshank Redemption

Don't even know what mines is. I know my mums are : Whatever Happened To Baby Jane, Vertigo, Gone With The Wind, Wuthering Heights (1939) and the 50s Imitation of Life.

My moms are Dirty Dancing, Pretty Woman, and Ghost. Oh and she likes Wizard of Oz and Rain Man too.
