Die Hard question/Carl's invincibity

In the first Die hard movie how does the blond terrorist Carl survive? McClane hangs him from a chain near the roof and a few minutes later Hans blows the roof up but Carl still shows up again at the very end of the movie and is killed by the black cop. Doesn't really matter but I was wondring if there was any explanation other than Carl being Wolverine's long lost brother or something.

There is none, other than the fact that the movie is called Die Hard.

Actually there was a deleted scene where Karl's invincibility was revealed to be the result of experimentation and genetic recoding done by exiled Nazi scientists hiding in South America.

Movie Magic.

It's the cheap thrill at the end when the bad guy comes back to life and gives one last yahoo.
