Hard one. I consider them equals really, but like Pacino a little better. One has as many classics as the other. At the same time, they both also have bad movies, like any other actor. I've been a huge fan of both since I was a kid.

I have put them in the same category, and I consider them more or less equals. Even though De Niro might be more versatile, it seems to me he plays with the same mannerisms (and the same accent), and I don't remember any exquisite strong scene of his. Pacino, on the other hand, has done work more memorable for me. "Scent of the woman", "Godfather".. So I like both for different reasons but I'm voting for Pacino because his lower score seems to me unfair.
