Harry eventually collars Scorpio in the process of rescuing a kidnap victim, only to see him walk on technicalities. Now, the maverick detective is determined to nail the maniac himself.

Dirty Harry's music is funky, energetic, and perfectly fitting for a seventies crime film, infused with the grit and realism that abounds the film.

We open with the killer's first strike against the city, and from then on the film is almost solely concerned with the ever escalating conflict between Scorpio and Dirty Harry.
