I know I've posted this elsewhere, but I favor Days of Heaven by Ennio Morricone.



The Days of Heaven score also includes "The Carnival of the Animals: The Aquarium" by Camille Saint-Saëns over the opening credits.



Of course, Morricone has composed many of the best movie scores.
