Have I read that right? Rami's problem is that he wants to co-write it and oversee production, but he's not one of the producers? If that's the case, he needs to piss or get off the pot.

The leaked red band trailer left me....scratching my head.

That's who I was thinking of while I was writing that.

Hopefully it won't be as much of a let down as The Thing prequel. I'm excited about it. Imdb says Raimi wrote the screenplay and it is distributed by Sony? We will see, won't we, as info slowly trickles down? Wonder if it will be taking a comical spin as did the originals, too many changes can end up making it all that much more horrid!

Judging from the trailer, it's more concerned with gore than light hearted laughs. Which didn't really come into the series until the second film.

Second, Raimi did write the script, but they brought in Diablo Cody, so expect Juno to become possessed.

Yeah, the leaked trailer didn't come across as comedic at all.

Regardless of any and all faults, I'm going to watch. The Movie Biz knows so so many will, regardless...
