Haven't seen a plentiful amount of action flicks, but out of the ones I have seen, my top five directors are:

1. James Cameron - Terminator, T2: Judgement Day, True Lies, Aliens
2. Steven Spielberg - Indiana Jones (All 3), Jurassic Park
3. Richard Donner - Leathal Weapon, Superman
4. Peter Jackson - Lord of the Rings
5. Lee Tamahori - Die Another Day
