The best thing about this scene is since the movie vampires kiss was on such a low budget they filmed Nicholas cage walking around like this and the man in the car and those walking by did not know that he was acting.

I'm sure I've posted this before, but Ida Lupino gives one of the best portrayals of a psychopathic killer I have ever seen. This scene in particular highlights how flawlessly she drives the insanity of her character home.
