Searching for a ww2 survival movie taking place on an island

Ww2 movie. Main chracter crashes on an island. He tries to survive Robinson Crusoe style while fixing his airplane. He ends up with fighting the natives. He finds some cans with food, and he makes his own firebombs with bottles. The movie ends with him flying away while dropping fireboms on the natives. It's an old movie. How old? I have no idea. From 50s to 80s.
