Does it not seem kind of silly to reuse one artist over and over on a list so small as 10?

Additionally, Deloused is probably the most disappointing LP to be released in recent years. I'm hoping they stop sucking by next LP.

And furthermore, you really like trip hop.

It does not seem silly to reuse one artist over and over i am just simply showing my top 10 albums

Additionally, im sorry you think Deloused is disappointing I for one think it is the best album i have ever had the privelage of hearing.

And furthermore, yes i do like trip hop, what was your meaning in pointing this out?

Okay. One, I don't like it when people are like, well that's YOUR opinion. Yes, yes it is my opinion. Did I ever say it wasn't? No. Defend your opinion. I only pointed that out so I could spark debate about the album. But I won't do that anymore. Because I'm a badass, and it seems that every person who likes that album says the same thing. Tremulant was an excellent EP, by the way. I'm not anti Mars Volta, I just think Deloused is halfassed unmelodic piece of ****.

And it is undeniably silly to mention one artist so many times, for multiple reasons. If I wanted to, I could name a top 10 list with just Bob Dylan and Radiohead albums, but I don't because it's pointless to reuse artists over and over, since there's so much great music out there. By reserving 4 spots of your list for just one band, you're successfully limiting recognition of a lot of other music you like probably an equal amount.

Also, relax. This is the internet. If you're going to get all jumpy every time anything is said to you, you might want to try heading over to Oregon or something. I'm still not convinced it exists outside of that old game, but if it does, I'd be forced to assume it's pretty nice there. And, they'd have oxen and stuff.

personally i think both the albums had their vaults and strengths.
that being said i wouldnt say that either one of those were unmelodic pieces of feces.

I'm still not convinced that Mars Volta can hold together an EP. Of the two branching bands from At the Drive In, I expected Sparta to be more of an EP leaning band, but it seemed to work opposite my expectations. Tremulant was short enough that I may never have realized that it was also unmelodic. But with Deloused, I can't even count how many times I wanted to skip songs because they devolved into such silliness towards the middle.

And this is my BOOMstick!
Buying music sucks. I made a promise to myself never to waste another penny on buying a music CD after I purchased "Hybrid Theory" by Linkin Park.
