Scorsese - Cape Fear
Herzog - one of his death row docs
Hitchcock - The Trouble With Harry
Kurosawa - Sanjuro (i guess but i still really like it and there are still plenty more for me to see)
Gibney - Lance Armstrong doc
PTA - Hard EIght
Wes Anderson - Life Aquatic

The rest of my favourite directors i don't think i have seen enough of to have a least favourite.

PTA - Magnolia

Ban him while you are banning Sean.

Tarantino - Pulp Fiction
Scorsese - tie between Taxi Driver, Goodfellas and Raging Bull
Kurosawa - Seven Samurai
Hitchcock - Vertigo
Herzog - Aguirre
Ingmar Bergman - Persona

All terrible movies.

Mike Leigh - Naked
Tommy Wiseau - The Room

Dammit, Camo.

Bergman - anything he ever made they are snoozefests
James Wan and Scott Derickson - nothing they are not snoozefests

Django Unchained fell a bit short for me

I'm not sure if I have a favorite director but I'll pick one that hasn't been mentioned yet...love Sidney Lumet but he really messed up with 1978's The Wiz.

I'd add Richard Linklater - Bernie. Still really like it though.

I think Bernie's in his better half at least. A delightful reprieve from some of what I find occasionally problematic in Linklater.

Django Unchained and Jackie Brown for Tarantino.

Killer's Kiss and Fear and Desire for Kubrick.
