35. ROD STEWART
English pop/rock star Rod Stewart's songs, particularly in the 80's, were some of the best he had ever made. I grew up listening to this stuff.

The "Jewish Elvis" as he is known to his loyal fans is possibly the most overlooked legendary rock star. My parents were huge fans, and, like many other artists on my list, I grew up on his music.

After leaving Wham, George went from pure pop to a more serious lyricist and singer. Despite the fact that he is all washed up today due to his drug problems, he will always be regarded as one of the greatest pop stars of all time.
