I used to love weed, but I don't do it anymore. I've done it two times since I had my psychotic breakdown (mid-late 2012), both in I think March of this year. Weed is horrible if you have schizophrenia (I'm not just saying that from experience - there have been studies about it). Really messed with me for a few days, both times. So I stay away from that stuff now.
Also, I'm not so convinced now that weed is the healthiest thing to be doing (I used to think weed was entirely safe and in fact beneficial). I don't think it's very smart to be smoking weed when your brain is still developing - in other words, before you're 25. I've had two doctors agree with me on that. I'm not an authority on the subject though, I haven't done enough research so I can't really say one way or the other. I do think, though, that cigarettes and alcohol are just as bad if not worse than weed. But I would rather they make cigarettes and alcohol illegal rather than make weed legal (though I also kind of think people should be able to do just about whatever they want with their body. I don't know, I'm still figuring that one out). I know that will never happen, but I would prefer it that way.
