In the end this is a decent flick, it serves as a bridge to what I hope and think will be a better film down the road. It's basically the second half of Casino Royale as well. If you enjoyed Royale, you will like this one, but you won't be enthusiastic about it. I sure wasn't.

Krueger is getting revenge on the kids of the parents who killed him, Jason is getting revenge on the kids who let him drown and killed his mother, the killers in scream are all about revenge.

While the film plays out slowly and may turn some people off, I was surprisingly hooked from start to finish and was honestly nervous during certain scenes that were spooky as hell.

Great chemistry had by all and the film uses this to its advantage having them in close quarters for most of the film.

Seeing his transition from film to film is great, but here is where it all started.

Nightmare On Elm Street holds a unique title, along with one other film, as being the only films to really scare me.

I was told to watch this film because it was "a true horror film'.

Sorry for the spoiler to a crappy film from 1998 that you will no doubt ever watch or care to think about.

So as bad as this film was, it gets away with a lot considering the flack other films of the same caliber get.

Really well filmed, for the budget and 'experience' of the people, NOTLD is a marvel to watch, too bad it's not a marvel to listen to.
