The film ends up a punch and it leaves you with a smile on your face, the chosen music works perfect with the subject matter and the style of the film.

This is, surprisingly, one of my favourite Scorsese films.

This "film" is an embarrassment for all involved and should be locked away with films like Belly or Carnivore.

At times it tries to be brilliant, like the novel, but it doesn't come off like that. I wanted the entire film to be brilliant, but ended up with an entertaining movie that I would love to watch over again and again.

I had a friend who loved this movie, then the recent popularity with kids wearing clothing from the film apparently ruined it for him.

Let's not forget that the first one was an entertaining film that kids could watch, this one is catered to adults.

Well, this film was one a couple times and I would always watch it because it had the taboo topic of a teacher and a young female who did it all the time.

Jane does an alright job of conveying the emotions needed to bring some kind of depth to the character, but after these scenes he becomes a wooden plank for the rest of the film.

Also, no matter how many times I watch this film, Courtney Cox will always annoy me.

The film is well written and helmed by a competent director he doesn't get all flashy and knows how to tell the story, which is the most important thing.
