Ten months ago, before I had ever even heard of Movie Forums, I probably thought I was a film snob when I watched a film from the 70s.

This film's message about corruption in journalism might have been one of the strongest morals I have seen in any film.

During the entire film, the main character only had one true goal, to get home.

The reason I am glad I had not seen the original film before seeing this, is because I would have just been waiting for the connection to happen.

If you went to this film to see a mystery kidnap thriller, you would be disappointed because that is not what this film is about.

Overall I enjoyed this film as much as I expected I would, but I thinks this is a film that requires you to be a Tarantino fan to enjoy.

While I did end up enjoying this movie, I felt like it was another case of a pixar film being over hyped.

This film is fantastic, and anyone who has enjoyed any of Charlie Chaplin's other films, should really check this one out.

After seeing this film, I became very interested in Hayao Miyazaki, the writer and director of the film, and I will be planning watching his other films My Neighbor Totoro and Howl's Moving Castle sometime soon.

The movie was unique, fun, beautiful, and it defiantly paved the way for science fiction films in the future.
