When I was younger I loved the cool action sequences (that opening scene - it's like the opening of an Indiana Jones movie in terms of excitement), and I loved the powers and technology of everyone.

I thought The Incredible was the most fun that I had watching a Pixar film.

I mean, who could have known that on top of a movie experience lost at sea with me attempting to rescue back my love for Finding Nemo, a movie called The Incredibles would come straight down fast and fiery from above and slam me senseless into the water right after it exploded directly in my face!

While this film may not be Pixar's most original or innovative film (treading on the familiar ground of superheroism and using many of those tropes, albeit using them very well), it is still a fantastic (or perhaps one would say, incredible) film and one of their best.

The Incredibles is another 2004 gem from the Disney Pixar library that is not only an affectionate valentine to action/adventure films, but family comedies as well and provides solid entertainment once it gets going.

Tapping into the spat of Superhero movies of the 2000s, they've created a relatively seen-before set of characters and events, but it's the classic nature and nostalgic feel of the movie mixed with top writing that brings out the excitement.

He wanted to be a superhero, but after being rejected by Mr Incredible, he becomes a really dark person and sets out to become a superhero in the most horrific of ways.

This cookie cutter family of superheros eventually becomes important later in the movie as they start to bond together by beating up villains.

My thoughts on it overall, I thought it was an amazing animated movie, easily my favorite out of all animated movies.

I realize that, first off, most people think of it as just a Pixar film or an animated film or a super hero film, but I think those tags for it miss the point of what I believe the film to be.
