Better yet, instead of being a NOAH movie, it was a Noah MOVIE.

I also like how the story basically turns into Noah being a twisted maniac - this is not some biblical story about a great man and his great doings - this is actually a MAN who is struggling to live up to his tasks from God and goes more and more mad with every new day and every new task that comes ...

It would be just a simple,short film if Aronofsky remained faithfull to the biblical version, because that story about the adventures of Noah is not that big of a deal.

But I was worried that Noah, with its 125-million-dollar budget, wouldn't feel like an Aronofsky movie.

Firstly I think we knew Aronofsky wasn't going to make a straightforward retelling of the story, he's not that kind of film maker but I do think he has stayed true to the values of the Bible story without sticking to the literal work.
