The theme, story structure and style are all different and neither film (Order of the Phoenix or Half Blood Prince) seem to have a main antagonist or mission for the kids to do.

Sadly, this one disappoints. It’s not that it’s [i]horrible[/i], per se, but by comparison, it suffers from a few glaring issues the preceding Potter films have mostly been able to avoid.

I’d probably rank this about tied with Goblet of Fire near the bottom half .. it’s still a surprisingly good summer blockbuster.

This film has less setup than the others; previous films offered big revelations and large problems up front, and needed the better part of two hours to sort them all out.

Director David Yates has given us a surprisingly dramatic and interesting 6th installment of the franchise.
