And if I can return to my earlier thread, if West really wanted to horrify with sexual content, he would have done well to brush up on his knowledge of pornographic horror films.

Overall, my take on the film is this: Whether or not West has made a new Horror classic I really can't say, I will have to ruminate on it and some time will have to pass, but this is one of the most well-made Horror films I've seen in a long time and is a good film regardless.

This is a slasher film for slasher fans done with a little bit more care and craft put in, just don't expect it to really jump off the screen.
