This film also showcases Altman's gift of using overlapping dialogue.

And of course, a year and a half after the film's release, the film became a television series with Alan Alda and Wayne Rogers replacing Sutherland and Gould.

The humor in this film is exactly my type, and the writing is most of the reason I enjoyed the film so much.
