And his most famous 90's film is likely the movie adopted from Michael Crichton's novel, Jurassic Park.

As I said in my Predator review, in movies like these that are set in an exotic location or a mysterious land, the most important thing is to not change the tone of the movie.

The use of both animatronic and computer generated dinosaurs (cgi that revolutionized the field and every film to come after that uses compositing owes something to this film) was incredible as it's still a film that feels so real, the dinosaurs actually feel like they're there.

Conclusion - Other than the first Lord of the Rings film I don't think I've ever felt such wonder at a film as I did with Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park is the monster of monster movies, it's every kids dream park that goes terrifyingly wrong, and what we witness is one fantastic movie, and one entertaining nightmare.

This movie is what made me love dinosaurs as a six-year-old-boy, this movie is what drove me to learn how to spell the word 'Palaeontologist' before finishing Grade 2, this movie is what gave me nightmares, it's what made me go out and rent my first movie from Blockbuster Video (The Lost World and Hook to be precise), this movie is what made me beg my Father to take me to the museum, this movie is what made me start reading large novels at age 8 (the borrowing of Michael Crichton's book by an 8-year-old alarmed my Librarian, the lovely Miss Blundell), this movie is what made me seek out other great films.

Lets start at the movie: John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), a multi-squillionaire with delusions of grandeur has set about and succeeded in turning an entire island into a theme park full of unnatural-abominations.

Directed by Steven Speilberg quite possibly the greatest film director alive today , Jurassic Park was a film worth sitting down and watching right through to the end. There is nothing bad to say about this film apart from asking to see "More Dinosaurs".But i guess from beginning to end it gave us many dinosaurs to shout, scream and cry throughout. The acting was also remarkable and you can tell that some actors may have got their big break with this film.

This is the first movie that I can remember seeing and actually liking, so without this movie, I would never have my love for movies that I have now, so I have A LOT of respect for this movie.
