Watchmen, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, 300...all these films have previous material already visualized in print form.

While this is happening, a power-phobic Batman tries to attack Superman.,Meanwhile, Superman tries to settle on a decision, and Lex Luthor, the criminal mastermind and millionaire, tries to use his own advantages to fight the "Man of Steel".

Watching Superman in this film honestly made me depressed.

When discussing the film, Henry Cavill said that it would address a major issue that fans and critics had with Man of Steel (2013), involving the huge amount of collateral damage caused in the film's climax during Superman's battle with General Zod in Metropolis.

Doomsday was very much shoe-horned into the film to show a greater climax involving not just Batman or Superman, but Wonder Woman as well who I thought could've had more screen time, but she was kick-a**.
