Watchmen, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, 300...all these films have previous material already visualized in print form.

While this is happening, a power-phobic Batman tries to attack Superman.,Meanwhile, Superman tries to settle on a decision, and Lex Luthor, the criminal mastermind and millionaire, tries to use his own advantages to fight the "Man of Steel".

Watching Superman in this film honestly made me depressed.

When discussing the film, Henry Cavill said that it would address a major issue that fans and critics had with Man of Steel (2013), involving the huge amount of collateral damage caused in the film's climax during Superman's battle with General Zod in Metropolis.

Doomsday was very much shoe-horned into the film to show a greater climax involving not just Batman or Superman, but Wonder Woman as well who I thought could've had more screen time, but she was kick-a**.

In working to re-establish a much more jaded version of Batman whose qualms about killing criminals have fallen by the wayside (thus presenting a genuine danger to Superman if the situation arises), Batman v Superman not only threatens to ruin what made these characters so beloved in the first place but also runs the risk of making the film difficult to enjoy even for casual audiences.

Overall, Snyder's BvS has its flaws and though it comes with an untimely gloomy ending but at least this time it wasn't as heavily chaotic as the ending of MAN OF STEEL; surely it could have been a pure epic extravaganza and it's almost like a dream come true movie for the BATMAN fans (which made the movie worth to watch & highly entertaining at times) but again they did kinda INJUSTICE in other areas as I mentioned above.

The argument here might be that Batman doesn't kill anyone ever, but as some fans would point out, Batman's story has expanded to the point of questioning that thick logic (if Batman would only kill Joker, many more lives would be saved) which SEEMS to be retroactively referenced in one shot of the movie implying that this is a Batman with a history we haven't seen yet.

Superman's weakness is shown early on and the way Batman is able to get access is completely plausible in the reality of the film.

It may not be sufficient to watch the film only once given the nature of the arguments presented and it is a film many people want to like given that they have been attached to both heroes since childhood which shows how much Batman and Superman have been part of the national psyche in post war America.
