It is obvious that this movie should be recommended to those who like the comics or action/adventure stories; however, I believe that this movie moves the whole trilogy into a place where it could be enjoyed by many, like myself, who rarely watch this type of film.

When I was ten and I went to the movie theater to go see Iron Man I saw the trailer for the Dark Knight and it freaked me out so much I literally had to walk out of the theater and go see a different movie (I was 10, ignore how illogical that is).

Everything that's been said good about this movie is spot on, Heath Ledger as the Joker makes this movie, but unfortunately, if you take him out, what more are you left with?

Overall, The Dark Knight isn't just a good comic movie, it's a great movie period!

This movie is like watching two movies mashed together.

Now, The Joker, played by the late Heath Ledger is something I was dubious about before I saw the movie.
