The film fails on so many levels I don't even know where to start. As a love letter to cinematically-impassioned young people and the French New Wave movement itself, [I]The Dreamers[/I] is a pretentious dud.

For those of us who live, breathe and love the movies, [i]The Dreamers[/i] is something that we can grab and hold on to.
