Besides, it succeeds at telling King Arthurs story, if anyones, and since Id be happy to watch, but do not feel compelled to see any other movies that tell this story that have been or are yet to be made, it must be doing something right.

It doesn't spare detail, and while it might seem to drag a little bit from time to time, it is because of the detail that it separates itself from other films that try and adapt the Arthurian legend.
