The Big Lebowski 6/02/15
This loopy comic adventure stars Jeff Bridges as Jeff Lebowski, who refers to himself as "The Dude" who is visited by some thugs who stick his head in the toilet and pee on his rug threatening him about money owed to a gangster but it is revealed that the money is really owed by someone else named Jeff Lebowski and when The Dude decides to visit the guy to pay for his rug, this is the linchpin for a bizarre comic adventure that defies description.

Unlike Fargo which can be seen as a dark comedy, The Big Lebowski is more a feel-good film thats style can probably be better compared to an earlier comedy of the Coen Brothers Raising Arizona, a film also which featured John Goodman (who also appeared in the Coen Brothers film Barton Fink).

After The Dude allows Walter to convince him to approach the other Jeff Lebowski, a wealthy official with a sex-addicted wife (named Bunny) who "owes money all over town", in order to gain reimbursement for his rug, the film really takes flight.
