We observe the life of two saints (please note we don't know the names of the two Buddhist monks as it is utterly irrelevant because the Buddhist liberation or salvation lies on to free oneself from endless suffering and existence), an old monk and spiritual leader and a boy monk his apprentice.

The film starts with a Buddhist monk and his young apprentice.

After some 20 minutes of the film i was starting to think, ok, this is all beautiful, very nice to look at, but i think i prefer my films to have a bit more to them, some emotion, passion, love, anger, death....and much to my surprise, it has it all.
