Disney must have put their best animators on this project because it's one of their best-looking animated movies.

But then in the long run, it's not a bad thing that it flopped at the time, as the changes after it led to what is in my opinion, Disney's greatest era in the early 90s.

The movie seems messy because of several edits and ever-changing ideas, which leaves the movie in the middle of two opposing worlds being the death and life, respectively, of a good Disney production.
