I can't even be bothered to go into the inconsistencies, lack of logic or stupidity in the plot like how there's another shard anyway and bringing back old age transformers instead of the ones they need, the hardest transformers sacrificing themselves to stop anyone getting a key with their bodies a....
Granted, Michael Bay is not known for making films rich in story, so in the end, you're really going to see huge robots battle each other throughout different continents.
Overall, Tranformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen presents action and battles of epic proportions between ultra-cool robotic alien races, but its weak plot, poor explanations for the return of the film's antagonists and their goals on Earth, and often too lengthy sequences of action brings it down to so....
