In his effort to finish his mission and try to find a way back, Buzz finds himself in places he never thought he would be and meeting people he never thought he would meet.

I went in totally expecting to hate the movie and Chris Evans, but the time jumping space story had enough heart and action to thrill me for the running time.

It's explained at the beginning of the film that Andy, the boy at the center of Toy Story, receives an action figure named Buzz Lightyear, who was the principal character in a movie that Andy saw and that this movie is that movie.
