The Rodent
It keeps the air of mystery going throughout the entire running time. The audience follows Neo’s journey of discovery brilliantly.
The Prestige
However, The Matrix still manages to be head and shoulders above it's inspirations because of it's heavily implied subtexts and the revolutionary way in which the CGI gives the film a sort of comic book aesthetic never seen before on celluoid.
