There is a lot of attention to detail here and first time filmmaker Aneesh Chaganty shows incredible talent to make a suspenseful film.
All the clues to the mystery are to be found on the daughter's footprints on the internet , and all the contacting the father and the police detective do with each other or with people who might provide solutions to the case is done mainly by messages or video chatting on computer or smartphone scre....
There's a ten minute scene near the beginning of the movie where David and Margot are skyping with each other (referred to here as "face time") that beautifully establishes the relationship between this struggling father and daughter who have clearly been through hell and back dealing with the mothe....
