The iconic creatures from two of the scariest film franchises in movie history wage their most brutal battle ever—in our own backyard. The small town of Gunnison, Colorado becomes a war zone between two of the deadliest extra-terrestrial life forms—the Alien and the Predator. When a Predator scout ship crash-lands in the hills outside the town, Alien Facehuggers and a hybrid Alien/Predator are released and begin to terrorize the town.

It's certainly an improvement on the first so gets my recommendation if you're even remotely interested in them but would further recommend waiting for an uncut version and definitely an alternative ending..

As for this movie's bread and butter, the effects. They were great, blood and guts galore! I mean when people weren't getting shot, they were getting stabbed, when they weren't getting stabbed they were getting dismembered..

All in all, not a fantastic movie, fairly standard, but a superior movie to AvP.
