I thought the film would be exactly the kind of film I like: a surreal, dark, twisted tale with a broad story and little plot.
As I set out to look for an Austrian film, most of what came up was from Michael Haneke's filmography, which is a bit ironic because there are certainly a couple of parallelisms between this film and Haneke's Funny Games (or even another Austrian film called Angst).
