he turned out to be one of the bad guys and that hes so much grittier and meaner in the subsequent film.

People saying that this film is just like TCM, and that it's a return to the old style of horror films from that heyday, ARE OUT OF THEIR MIND.

Personally, I always stood in vague support of Rob Zombie, particularly his film The Devils Rejects, and even if they had their issues, I enjoyed a lot of the ideas had in his Halloween reboot series, particularly Halloween II, which I found messily intriguing, a theme for many of Zombies films.
