In the South American jungle, supplies of nitroglycerine are needed at a remote oil field. The oil company pays four men to deliver the supplies in two trucks. A tense rivalry develops between the two sets of drivers on the rough remote roads where the slightest jolt can result in death.

The way this movie differs from its re-imagination has both positives and negatives.The movie tries to describe the plight of its characters verbally in this movie where as in Sorcerer its visual.
The tension and suspense is palpable during the driving scenes, but what raises this movie to a whole other level is that it takes the time to familiarize the audience with these men.
