When former Green Beret John Rambo is harassed by local law enforcement and arrested for vagrancy, the Vietnam vet snaps, runs for the hills and rat-a-tat-tats his way into the action-movie hall of fame. Hounded by a relentless sheriff, Rambo employs heavy-handed guerilla tactics to shake the cops off his tail.

While the aforementioned may have degrees of charm and screen presence, in terms of acting ability Stallone is definitely on another level to them. Yes he may not always have shown it, but to be fair many of his films haven't called for it.
Rambo makes a daring escape from the police station he is taken to and takes refuge in the wild. He soon mounts a one-man defense against the sherrif and the National Guard. Rambo is Stallone's most sympathetic character ever.
