I would have posted in the Greatest Soundtracks of all time thread, but this isn't exactly the greatest, but I'm interested in others opinions .

On the news today I noticed that 'Master and Commander' won an award for best soundtrack in Australia, so I looked up the movie on imdb.com and found it also won best soundtrack at the Bafta awards (UK) and outstanding achievement in Sound Mixing for motion pictures from the Cinema Audio Society (USA).

I never really thought about it, but the soundtrack was damn good really (amoungst other things). Moments for me were when the Captain and the scientist are playing together (capt on Violin and scientist on Cello), nice moment. Also the songs that the sailors sing are pretty good, does that count as sountrack?

What did everyone else think, personnally I didn't really think about the soundtrack till now.
