Which 80s corny teen comedy was better?
Having watched both now, I would have to go with Adventures in Babysitting I think. It's cornier but I also found myself laughing more at the sheer over the topness of it all, but I also like how the characters are in a real pickle, they have to get of. I also find Elizabeth Shue to be real charming to watch and wish she had gotten more bigger roles, but you see her pop up once in a while.
Ferris Bueller is funny but he's a superman in comparison where everything goes right for him, and there some laughs in there for the fact that everything goes right, but there was no conflict or stakes to pull through, and that was harder for me to get invested in it because of that, after a while.
So I will go with the Adventures in Babysitting, but what do you think?
